Jonah Slade is a student and intern of Marriage and Family Therapy currently pursuing his master’s degree at Utah Tech University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Family Life From Brigham Young University, with an emphasis in Human Development. As a therapist he is passionate about helping individuals of all cultures, ethnicities, races, genders, sexual orientations, religious/spiritual persuasions, and socioeconomic statuses, strengthen their relationships. His belief is that healthy relationships are the foundation for a healthy life. Health in relationships, especially partnerships, is driven by emotional connection and secure attachment, and these fundamental concepts largely inform his approach to therapy.
He is bilingual, speaking English and Portuguese. Though not fluent in Spanish, he is very knowledgeable of the language and has extensive experience with individuals and families from a variety of Hispanic cultures.
