We are pleased to have a collaborative alliance with Utah Tech University’s Marriage and Family Therapy masters program and hold as a priority the offering of internships for those eligible in the second phase of their education process.
The EFT Counseling and Education Center has a two-fold mission:
1.) To offer a high standard of treatment and services for the community and those
seeking help for relational and mental health issues and,
2.) To provide excellent training to professionals, including interns, associate
therapists and fully licensed therapists seeking advanced training and/or EFT
Certification.
It is with this mission in mind that we offer internship/practicum experiences to students
seeking to gain skills, experience, and confidence as they strive to become top
professionals in the field of marriage and family therapy. The student intern works under
the supervision of either Dr. Debi Gilmore, an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and
Certified EFT Therapist and Supervisor, or Dr. Rebecca Jorgensen, an internationally
renowned Certified EFT Trainer and Supervisor. They have a passion for the process of
mentoring, teaching, and working with students, remain focused on the hope that the
internship experience will be challenging, positive, and memorable.
